Unfortunately in the strong winds on Thursday night the pool/gym gate shattered.
We have cleaned up the glass and boarded up the gate.
We have arranged with GC Window repairs to replace the gate with an aluminium gate, similar to the one at the pool entrance.
This will be less wind resistance and stronger than the previous glass gate.

Aluminum gate replacement agreed by Chair & Treasurer in email same day. Secretary also advised agreement.
Hi Ken,
I am waiting for the office to open and I am going to ask Jodie where is she at with this, has she a date when the contractor will be here to fix the holes.

Hi Jodie
I have the invoice for the new pool gate to approve.
The gate is great and I feel it is safer in the high winds than the previous glass gate.
I am wondering about the open holes left because the gate opener was installed on the wrong side.
Is GC Windows returning to close off the holes so that water does not enter the gate structure. Also, the open holes don’t look very nice.
Appreciate knowing where this is at.

Hi Robyne,
As mentioned below, the pool gate is still to be powder coated. The holes will be repaired prior to this being completed.
Andre rushed the job through so we had a replacement gate prior to the holiday period….he admits that the holes were his mistake and will be repaired.
GC Window Repairs has only returned from their break this week and the work will happen in the coming weeks.
